Sphinx 3000, a New Generation of Titanium Handguns
Sphinx Systems Ltd. is the last remaining gun manufacturer in Switzerland.
Embedded in the world famous mountain scenery of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau in the heart of the Swiss Alps, Sphinx is successfully producing high-precision handguns for the Law Enforcement Community as well for the IPSC sport scene for many years. Now, Sphinx is introducing the new Series 3000, its first titanium model .
The new pistol is based on a modular system and features details such as full size checkering, raised Beaver tail for a better and firmer grip, long dust cover with a universal rail, ergonomically optimised grip angel, different calibre possibilities and last but not least, a CNC-machined solid titanium frame.
The Sphinx titanium gun is a seamless transition from the successful Series 2000, which remains in the program. The goal of developing a modular weapon that meets the needs for Law Enforcement as well for sports, has been successfully achieved by introducing the Sphinx 3000.
As Armin Landolt, CEO of Sphinx Systems Ltd., says: “The Sphinx 3000 is made by professionals for professionals. It’s not that we invented the wheel again, but definitely added an important spoke to it.”
In Switzerland, Sphinx is a so called “Swiss ordonance weapon”. In order to supply the Law Enforcement and Military Community, one has to pass a special test by the Swiss Government to achieve the “Swiss ordonance” approval. Only Sphinx and SIG have obtained the “Swiss ordonance” certification. Several Police corps worldwide are already carrying Sphinx handguns.
Sphinx Systems Ltd. is not mass-producing their guns. Like you may expect from a Swiss precisions manufacturer, Sphinx pistols are the products of knowledge, competence and many years of experience.
